Watched on: May 8-9th, 2024. Well, this one was unexpectedly good. The characters were chill and easy to get into and the setting was fine, good shots of the woods and overall scenery. The actual terror, when it starts, well.. it starts alright. Without spoiling anything, I'll just say it follows the same trope / concept of any other found footage type(s) of plot and that is.. no one (usually) survives their encounters and alas.. the "footage" is "found" for us to all see and experience. Anyhoo.. I definitely recommend this one, especially to fans of found footage horror!

Watched on: May 7-8th, 2024. Yah, that was pretty terrible. Slow pacing, no scares except for the predictable "jump scare" which is more irritating than nerve-wrecking. Ending is dumb and confusing, doesn't show us what actually happens, just a bunch of annoying feedback noise and ear-piercing sound effects, camera shaking, etc. Terrible movie.

Watched on: May 6th, 2024. For a movie that's of average running time, I was desperately waiting for this dragged out piece of shit to end so badly. Annoying main girl character, crappy camera / production value, and a false ending just to tease you with a real ending which is even worse and predictable. Holy shit... this was terrible.

Watched on: May 4th, 2024. Pretty good. The Chupacabra creature looked great, I'm glad they went with a more practical version instead of relying on CGI. The gore effects were brilliant as well. The story itself... well, the characters aren't all that interesting and the plot itself is very predictable. Ending was.. what I expected. All 'n all, it's okay.

Watched on: April 28th, 2024. One of the worst "Bigfoot" movies I've ever seen... more like "we're going camping: the movie". There isn't one instance of Bigfoot besides a couple of footprints that are found / measured. More talk than action. Boring characters. Redundant crap folk music that gets annoying quick. Yah... what was with the ending too? A forest fire? Lmao... just terrible!

Watched on: April 27th, 2024. Oh man, this one was amazing! The scenery, the shots and just the simplicity of the overall picture was phenomenal! The lore building up to the encounter with the Sasquatch(es) was very interesting and although the characters weren't too in-depth, they gave enough personality to their roles to sorta be able to differ from one another quite easily. There was an underlining sense of humor among the cast, but also when things got hectic, you could really tell - especially when the Sasquatch appears for the first time in a flashback. Soundtrack was fine and definitely made you feel like you were there in the "old times" where technology was still in its infancy and the world still seemed "new" - which was helped by the brilliant cinematography. Lastly, the howls of Bigfoot are amongst the best I've heard and are terrifying as all hell. I can only imagine hearing something like that irl - it would scare me to literal death. So, they did great with the sound design as well. Anyways, great movie, I highly recommend it for both Bigfoot enthusiasts and normie horror movie-goers who want something a little more old school.

Watched on: April 26th, 2024. Boring asf, nothing really happens. There are no "scary" parts to be had, it may have at the time.. but I doubt it. 1980 was a great year for horror, but this sure as hell wouldn't have been on that list.
