Watched on: Watched on: January 24th, 2024. Damn good, this one is definitely a "keeper" in terms of medieval films. The atmosphere, characters, music, gore, etc. was all on point!

Brotherhood of the Wolf
Watched on: January 24th, 2024. I enjoyed it, despite its long duration of nearly 2 in a half hours. The horror aspect was sorta lacking as well as my expectations of the said "creature" of the film which is barely relevant throughout the film itself. It's a bit more on the betrayal / romantic / martial arts side.. which was an odd take to go with, but I'm not really complaining, it's more of just something I noticed while watching. Music was good as well, so I'll give the film that.

Watched on: January 24th, 2024. It was great up until the "ending" which ended up being a false ending, so when I checked the time (assuming the movie was almost over at that point), it still had 30 minutes left and that's when I sighed and attempted to make it thru the rest of the film. Honestly, they could've done something better than just drag out the same scene (again) for another 30 minutes, it just felt ridiculously long and unwarranted. So, up until that point in the movie, it was decent enough.

Adam Evil (2004)
Watched on: January 20th, 2024. Not bad, I enjoyed this one. Decent body count, gore and scenery / atmosphere. Don't know why such a low-rating when there's shit ton of crappier films out there, especially in the horror genre, this one is definitely a hidden gem imo.

Watched on: January 20th, 2024. Terrible movie. Crappy characters, incoherent plot, random psychological nonsense with a mix of bad editing / cuts. Random characters get introduced but then pushed aside. I don't even remember why I was watching it, until maybe halfway thru? Anyways, it's bad.

Watched on: January 19-20th, 2024. I liked it. The ending was sorta expected, but that's alright. Some of the stories length were shorter than others and then some were too long. Not bad by any means, but for what it was, I enjoyed it.

Theater of Blood
Watched on: January 19th, 2024. Very weird and nonsensical, just not my cup of tea. Also, it felt longer than it actually was and at some point I just wanted the movie to wrap itself up 30 minutes shorter, but it just kept going. People saying this is Vincent Price's "best performance" are out of their minds. This was very mediocre at best.

Watched on: January 19th, 2024. Wasn't the greatest comedy I've seen... but was very average, dare I say below average? I can see why this film is not very well-known nor well-liked. It wasn't the two main actors faults either, just the script and why anybody would ever want to see a "comedy" based on the lives of two door-to-door salesmen. Bad idea.

The Haunting (1963)
Watched on: January 18th, 2024. Much better than the remake that I saw as a kid. This one actually felt genuine and I enjoyed the actors. Atmosphere was good as well. Definitely one of the better horror flicks of the 60's for sure!
