The Room
Watched on: Watched on: February 14th, 2024. I guess if you watch it knowing it's a bad film, it somehow comes off as "decent" (not sure if that's the right word tho?) I didn't hate it, but I definitely laughed more than I should've. That's all I really gotta say.

Watched on: Watched on: February 11th, 2024. What a weird-ass movie... uhh, it was okay. Ending was whack and overall, the whole thing was confusing and a big mess. Nothing much of note to mention.

Striking Distance
Watched on: Watched on: February 11th, 2024. One of the most average Bruce Willis films I've seen thus far. Forgettable at best.

The Mystery of the 13th Guest
Watched on: Watched on: February 11th, 2024. The back-and-forth bant between the two main detective / cop characters was the only highlight of this miserable film. Besides that aspect, everything else was bland, boring and straight up stupid.

Terror in the Wax Museum
Watched on: Watched on: February 10-11th, 2024. Not bad, but not the greatest. Made you anticipate live-wax figures killing people, but not quite... the "twist" wasn't too much of a twist, it wasn't really anything honestly. Average film imo, probably will forget about it within a couple of days.

The Man Who Could Cheat Death
Watched on: Watched on: February 10th, 2024. I enjoyed it. Sorta had a Dr. Jekylle and Mr. Hyde scenario-based plot which was pretty okay. Ending was typical and the way it concluded was what I expected. Not bad, not great, just average at best.

Suspiria
Watched on: Watched on: February 9th, 2024. Well... that was freaky. I can see the cult-status behind this one for sure. Very gory, especially the very beginning of the film. I didn't even read up on this beforehand, I decided to just watch it with a blind-eye / clear mind, which I'm happy I did so. Definitely one of "those" types of horror I can see... and it delivered!

Island of Terror
Watched on: Watched on: February 8-9th, 2024. Very interesting. I liked the premise of the movie, definitely gave off like a War of the Worlds / Body Snatchers vibe to it, even maybe like The Blob? Creatures that use humans as food, while being indestructible? Sounds about right. For what this was during the time period it was made, I thought it was pretty damn good. Of course, Peter Cushing does a great job as always, but I have to give it up for the main actor Edward Judd for his performance as well. I enjoyed his character. Very well-paced dialogue exchange and quick-thinking based personality. Him being the prominent hero of the film was a good decision and overall, I was impressed. My only issue with the film? The creatures, dubbed "silicates" were badly designed and just came off as lazy / redundant, but.. it is what it is.

Last Man Standing
Watched on: Watched on: February 8th, 2024. Yep, I definitely liked this one! Bruce Willis at his finest and whaddaya know? It's Die Hard in the wild wild west! Figures, I like the concept, the delivery of dialogue and the overall tone was great. Underrated classic imo!

The Creeping Flesh
Watched on: Watched on: February 7th, 2024. Now, that was good. Almost like a version of Frankenstein with the whole mad scientist creating a monster that runs loose, causing havoc, etc. Altho, that wasn't fully what this was all about. The creature in question became more of a subplot, whereas the whole movie in general is focused on mental illness it seems. The end is great and gives a good ambiguous sorta ending. Good film!

Watched on: Watched on: February 7th, 2024. Welp! Now I know the hype. Very violent, great dialogue, crazy twists / unexpected turn of events.. only to showcase the insanity that drove Tony Montana to his downfall. Paranoia, jealousy, anger and power. Great flick!

The Tingler
Watched on: Watched on: February 7th, 2024. Boring asf, I fell asleep more than once. Not enough characters in the plot, very linear and a one-note film for someone like Vincent Price. I'd say this is a more overrated film of the 50's, I'd rather rewatch House on Haunted Hill as I feel he had more to work with in that one. This one is just plain and... dragged out.

Curse of the Demon
Watched on: Watched on: February 6th, 2024. Not bad. I enjoyed it for the most part. Some scenes sort of dragged and for some reason, were hard to pay attention to.. having to rewind a couple of times to really understand what was going on... this was around the 2/3rds of the way thru the film. The "demon" in question is pretty cool, not a bad effect for the time period that this was released. I guess my only problem with said "demon" is that it was only shown twice throughout the whole film and sometimes I felt like the story forgot about it, but.. by the time the film concluded, I can safely say it was pretty decent as a horror movie.

Watched on: Watched on: February 6th, 2024. Not the worst slasher I've ever seen, but boy did they ruin any momentum in this film when they decided to get rid of the very appearance / mask that the killer was wearing at the very beginning of the film. He looked cool, but then ends up ditching the whole getup to dress like a cowboy with sunglasses, so.. it took me out the whole time, because it just looks like some regular dude vs. a mask killer which imo gives off the more "supernatural" take that they could've gone with, but instead.. .like I said, they ruined all of that by making him normal looking. Hell, they practically revealed who he was and what he looked like immediately. So.. mediocre / trash flick that was ruined by the simplest mistake and that was revealing the killer too early.

Dr. Terror
Watched on: Watched on: February 5th, 2024. This was pretty bad. Anthology films for the most part never work as a full-length film. Five stories of five strangers, and they were all boring. Nothing crazy or "horror" related at all... it was just dragged out nonsense. How this has a high-rating is beyond me. Some stories were longer than others and their "deaths" were always offscreen crap, so.. you didn't really see what happens to the protagonist besides a fade out. Just crap, absolute crap.
